Carolina Mustard Sauce

Makes 1 1/2 cups sauce


  • 3/4 cup prepared yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
  • Small pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


  1. Combine the mustard, honey, vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, cayenne, and black pepper and mix well. Refrigerate overnight before serving. The sauce can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 4 weeks.
