Apricot flip

Makes 1 serving


  • 1 1/2 oz cognac
  • 1/2 oz apricot brandy
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • Freshly grated nutmeg, as needed for garnish

Combine the cognac, brandy, simple syrup, and egg white in a cocktail shaker (do not add any ice), and shake until foamy. Add ice to the shaker and shake again until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with nutmeg.
