Our dining events take the CIA restaurant experience to the next level. With something for nearly every craving, style, and mood, these events offer a world-class dining experience, an opportunity to see firsthand the future leaders of the food industry, and a chance to meet other guests who love food and wine as much as you do!
CIA Student Charity Dinner Events
Student-run charity dining events are presented by CIA bachelor’s degree students. These future stars in the hospitality industry are responsible for the planning, execution, and menu development as well as the overall ambiance and theme of the evening.
Balsamic Master Class and Five-Course Dinner
Balsamic vinegar is a versatile ingredient prized for the flavor it brings to sweet and savory dishes. Spend an evening discovering its varietals, learning why country of origin matters, and discovering when to use which type of balsamic. The evening will start with a lecture and tasting presented by Giulia Maugeri, of Giusti Balsamic Vinegar and CIA chefs, followed by a five-course dinner at Ristorante Caterina de’ Medici.

Brew U at CIA
Join us for the annual Brew U festival at The Egg in the Student Commons at CIA’s Hyde Park, NY campus. Brew U is an exciting beer festival that will combine sampling from top breweries—including CIA’s brewery—with incredible food from CIA and fun, educational seminars for beer and culinary enthusiasts.

Beefsteak
Join us for the 11th annual Beefsteak as we honor the tradition of this classic feast with unlimited beef, beer, and bourbon in the stunning Farquharson Hall. Sing and dance along with live music, indulge in great food and drink, and take part in the camaraderie of the evening. We’re getting rid of the silverware, bringing in the beef, and raising a glass of CIA Beefsteak Blonde to transport you back in time to when this dinner craze took New York by storm.
