One of the world’s premier wine and food destinations, the Napa Valley, is a true celebration of the winemaker, the farmer, and the chef. It’s also where you’ll find two amazing culinary experiences, just 20 miles apart—the CIA at Greystone in St. Helena and the CIA at Copia in Napa.
Copia combines everything you love about the CIA—culinary expertise, gracious hospitality, and unforgettable flavors—with your passion for food, wine, and family fun. Yes! The CIA at Copia has it all. From dining experiences and hands-on cooking classes to wine tasting, shopping, and fun-filled events, there is always something new to discover.
Here’s a sampling of the types of classes we offer at Copia:
Cook and bake in our state-of-the-art Hestan Kitchen! Take a Plant-Powered Cooking Boot Camp or explore regional cuisine as you learn the techniques, ingredients, and recipes to add to your growing cooking arsenal.
Turn your curiosity into brand-new skills! Get inspired and grow your knowledge of cooking, baking, and wine in one of our hands-on classes. Ranging in length from 2–5 hours, you can choose to improve your knife skills, learn how to cook with beer, grill like a pro, make sushi, and so much more.
Discover the history of Napa Valley in only eight glasses or learn the “pairing basics” of how food interacts with wine in one of our wine tasting classes. Yum!
Our demonstration-style classes are perfect for all ages and skill levels. These fun and engaging classes explore a variety of topics and always come with a sampling of what chef is preparing that day. You’ll also leave with a recipe card, so you can recreate the deliciousness at home!
Every Sunday is Family Funday at Copia. Enjoy an interactive demonstration with your mini-chef, as you learn a few tricks of the trade easily incorporated into you daily cooking routine. Or enroll your young chef in one of our day camps, where they’ll have a blast learning all about new cuisines and cooking techniques.
These fun and festive classes help you make the holidays delicious, easy, and fun. Learn to make gorgeous holiday pies and tarts, and food and cocktails for entertaining. Or, bring the kids to the Family Funday—CIA Holiday Favorites edition and make holiday preparations a family affair.
